Thank you for shopping with DNL Creations. We want you to love your order. This policy explains when and how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
1. Custom & Personalized Items — Final Sale
Most of what we make is custom-made or personalized to your specifications (names, designs, sizes, colors, supplied artwork, etc.). Because these items can't be resold, all custom and personalized orders are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund — except where the item arrives defective or differs materially from the approved proof (see Section 3).
Please review your digital proof carefully before approving it. Once approved, you accept responsibility for any errors it contains.
2. Non-Custom / Ready-Made Items
For ready-made stock items that are not personalized, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is:
- Unworn, unwashed, and unused
- In its original condition with any tags attached
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Items returned outside this window or not in original condition may be refused or subject to a partial refund.
3. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives defective, damaged, or different from what you approved, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at daniel@dnlcreations.net with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photos of the item and any packaging damage
For valid claims, we will — at our discretion — repair, replace, or refund the affected item at no cost to you. This applies to custom items as well.
4. How to Start a Return
- Email us at daniel@dnlcreations.net (or use the contact form at dnlcreations.net) with your order number and reason for return.
- We'll review your request and, if approved, send return instructions.
- Do not send items back before receiving authorization — unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect an approved return, we'll notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the refund to post.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.
6. Exchanges
We're happy to exchange eligible non-custom items for a different size or color, subject to availability. Exchanges follow the same process and timeframe as returns. For custom items, exchanges are only available in the case of a defect or our error.
7. Return Shipping
- If the return is due to our error or a defective item, we cover return shipping.
- For all other eligible returns, return shipping is the customer's responsibility, and original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- We recommend a trackable shipping method; we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
8. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled for a full refund before production begins. Once we've started production on a custom order, the deposit is non-refundable, and cancellation may be subject to costs already incurred (materials and labor).
9. Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return or refund except in the case of a defect or our error:
- Custom and personalized products
- Sale or clearance items (if applicable)
- Gift cards
- Items damaged through normal wear or improper care
10. Color & Product Variations
Slight differences in color, texture, sizing, and print placement are normal for custom apparel and handmade goods, and on-screen colors may vary from the finished product. These natural variations are not considered defects.
